This uniform is used for desert operations where stealth is the primary factor. This desert camo uniform consists of a lightweight Level IIa tactical vest, lightweight desert boots, Nomex balaclava, and Nomex/Kevlar gloves. As far as protection goes, the vest will stop some pistol rounds.
